YOUR SPACE. YOUR INFORMATION.

Privacy, in plain language.

Information you choose to save

Your optional first name, goals, triggers, reasons for taking a break, time estimates, replacement activity, reset dates, pledges, check-ins, journal entries, pause logs, setbacks, and lesson or session completion make up your personal workspace. Please do not enter brokerage credentials, account numbers, payment card details, or passwords.

As a guest, your workspace is stored in local storage in your browser profile. The temporary pause timer and optional trigger draft use that tab's session storage, including while you are signed in. Signing out clears the current signed-in pause draft; closing the tab clears its session storage. Clearing website data, private browsing, or losing your device can erase device-only entries. Anyone with access to your unlocked browser profile may be able to read them.

Signing in uses a one-time verification code sent to your email address. Afterticker stores your email address, account identifier, and authentication records needed to sign you in securely. Your signed-in workspace is sent over HTTPS to the website server and stored in a database under your account identifier so it can be loaded on another signed-in device. Signed-in entries are held in page memory while you work; the original guest workspace remains separately on that device. Watch the save status before closing the page or signing out: a failed or pending save has not been confirmed by the server.

Account access controls protect each person's records. Afterticker does not offer end-to-end encryption and should not be used as a secure archive. Operational access to hosting and database systems may be necessary to provide and maintain the service.

Your entries provide your plan, history, and, for Plus members, progress reviews. Reviews are calculated from your own logged check-ins and pauses on the server using your selected date window and browser time zone. They are not diagnoses, brokerage records, or proof of recovery. There is no AI chat feature, and the application does not send your journal to an AI service.

Afterticker does not connect to a brokerage, place or block trades, or sell your entries. It does not send journal text, check-in notes, or trigger details to Stripe or Meta. The assessment, private workspace, membership/billing pages, and account APIs do not load marketing measurement.

Membership and payments

If you buy Plus, Stripe collects your payment information on its own checkout page. Afterticker sends your account email and identifier to link the purchase to your account. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, price, payment-related subscription status, and billing event records. Afterticker does not receive your full card number. Stripe handles its payment information under its privacy policy.

Signing out, clearing your workspace, or deleting browser data does not cancel a subscription. Use Manage membership in Settings to open Stripe's billing portal, or contact support if you cannot access it.

Hosting, fonts, and essential storage

The website host and infrastructure providers process normal request information, including IP address, browser information, requested pages, and operational logs, to deliver and protect the service. Email sign-in uses an essential secure session cookie. Our email delivery provider processes the recipient address and verification email to deliver your code. Verification codes expire after five minutes; request a new code if yours expires. Local storage and session storage support the tools you request. Your optional marketing preference is stored separately in this browser's local storage.

Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sends normal font requests to Google's servers. Your form fields and journal contents are not included in those requests. Contacting support sends whatever you include to our email provider; avoid including sensitive entries or financial credentials.

We ask for your permission before loading the Meta Pixel to measure PageView visits on the public home and pricing pages. Measurement stays off until you allow it. Declining does not affect access to Afterticker. Automatic event collection and advanced matching are not part of this setup. No account identifiers, form answers, journal contents, check-ins, pause activity, subscription activity, or payment data are sent by this integration.

If you opt in, Meta may receive your IP address, browser/device details, the page's real address and referral information, its Pixel identifier, and Meta cookie or click identifiers. Meta may associate this information with its own accounts and use it for advertising measurement under its privacy policy. The integration is limited to approved public-page addresses and campaign parameters; unknown parameters, private-page referrals, and unapproved referrals prevent it from loading. It does not rewrite your address or disguise sensitive activity.

Use Marketing privacy on the home page or the same control on Pricing to allow or decline. You can withdraw permission there at any time. Withdrawal stops future Pixel delivery and removes accessible first-party Meta cookies (_fbp and _fbc); it cannot recall information Meta already received or delete Meta's third-party cookies. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep measurement off. Your choice applies to this browser and website origin. A changed measurement setup asks for a new choice.

Open Settings to download your current workspace as JSON or delete its personal entries. Signed-in deletion removes the current account's workspace from the application database; device-only deletion clears the guest workspace in that browser. These are separate stores. Exported files and copies on other devices are not deleted automatically. The product currently has no file-restore tool.

Your account workspace is retained until you clear it or request deletion. Subscription, customer, and billing event records are kept separately for subscription management, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. Clearing personal entries does not remove those records or cancel a subscription. Infrastructure backups and operational logs may persist under the providers' retention practices. Email support@afterticker.com for a broader access or deletion request; we may need to verify account ownership.

Website addresses and shared devices

Guest data belongs to the exact website origin and browser profile. Moving from the preview address to afterticker.com does not move it automatically. Export entries you want to keep before switching. Signed-in account records belong to your Afterticker account. Sign out after using a shared device, and remember that the device's separate guest entries remain until cleared.
